Background
Miss Reena Agarwal is a Consultant Plastic, Burns and Hand Surgeon at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, where she has been a substantive Consultant since 2014, having previously served as a Locum Consultant between 2011 and 2014. She has extensive experience in the assessment and management of both adult and paediatric patients with a wide range of plastic surgical conditions.
Her specialist interests include burns, hand injuries, scar management, reconstructive plastic surgery, traumatic soft tissue injuries and skin lesions. She undertakes medico-legal work relating to Personal Injury and is actively involved in surgical education, research and national leadership within plastic surgery.

Her work has appeared in the European Burns Journal, Burns, the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery (JPRAS) and JPRAS Open, and she has contributed to the Oxford Handbook of Operative Surgery.
